This Privacy Policy applies to residents, estate administrators, security personnel, visitors, vendors, support contacts, website visitors, and anyone who uses INSYDE services.
Some estates may act as the data controller for resident and estate records, while INSYDE may act as a processor or service provider for those estates. Where INSYDE decides why and how certain data is processed, INSYDE may act as a controller.
Information we collect
Account and identity data: name, email address, phone number, estate, unit, role, login records, resident profile, household details, and verification status.
Estate operations data: invoices, payments, wallet activity, visitor passes, QR codes, gate scans, maintenance requests, facility bookings, announcements, polls, complaints, lost-and-found reports, safety alerts, incident notes, and audit logs.
Utility and commerce data: meter numbers, validation responses, purchase records, payment status, service provider references, receipts, and transaction metadata.
Communications data: messages sent through support channels, WhatsApp interactions, notification preferences, OTP delivery metadata, and customer support history.
Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, session information, pages visited, crash logs, cookie identifiers, push notification tokens, and security telemetry.
Location data: only where needed for safety, SOS, visitor access, fraud prevention, or features that require location, and subject to the permissions available on the device or browser.
How we use information
To provide estate-management services, authenticate users, process payments, manage visitor access, vend utilities, send notifications, respond to support requests, investigate fraud or misuse, and improve platform reliability.
To support safety and emergency workflows, including SOS location sessions, security incident tracking, emergency contact coordination, and audit trails for critical events.
To comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users and estates, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and meet accounting, tax, security, and regulatory obligations.
Legal bases and consent
We process personal data where it is necessary to perform a contract, operate requested services, comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests, pursue legitimate operational interests, or where consent is required.
Where consent is used, users may withdraw consent where legally available. Withdrawal may limit access to features that require the relevant data, such as push notifications, WhatsApp messages, location-based SOS, or utility transactions.
Sharing and disclosures
We may share data with the estate or community organization responsible for the relevant account, authorized staff, payment processors, utility providers, messaging providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, security vendors, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or emergency responders where appropriate.
We do not sell personal information. We require service providers to process information only for authorized purposes and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security controls.
Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to provide services, keep audit trails, satisfy legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, preserve security records, and support estate operations.
Different records may have different retention periods. For example, payment and gate-access records may be retained longer than marketing preferences because they support accounting, security, and dispute resolution.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or review of certain automated processing.

Children and minors
INSYDE is not intended for unsupervised use by children. Household or dependent information should be provided by an authorized adult or estate representative where necessary for estate operations.

We may update this policy as the platform, law, or operating practices change. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
